Pastry Chef de Cuisine Luxury Mountain Resort Pacific Northwest A premier four-season mountain resort in the Pacific Northwest is seeking an accomplished Pastry Chef de Cuisine to lead its pastry program. Key Responsibilities Direct daily pastry operations, ensuring consistent, high-quality desserts and confections. Lead, mentor, and motivate a pastry team while fostering a collaborative and positive work culture. Develop menus and recipes that reflect both classical techniques and contemporary trends. Manage budgets, purchasing, labor, and inventory with a focus on quality and cost control. Uphold the highest standards of sanitation, safety, and presentation. Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef and assume leadership responsibilities as needed. Qualifications Formal pastry culinary training. Minimum 3 years of experience in a leadership pastry role within a luxury hotel, resort, or private club. Expertise across plated desserts, banquets, breads, chocolate, and contemporary pastry trends. Strong organizational and communication skills with a hands-on leadership style. Proven ability to balance creativity with financial responsibility. Enthusiasm for living and working in a small mountain community with abundant outdoor recreation.
