Mikomi Sushi West Covina is recruiting for servers to join our team. We are located at the Plaza West Covina shopping mall. We take great pride in the freshness and quality of food and service that we provide. We offer a variety of great options for everyone from freshly prepared fish and appetizers to dinner entres at one of the hottest spots in West Covina. This position is eligible for tips Applicants will go through a training period if hired Who we are looking for: We are looking for energetic individuals that can work in a fast-paced environment and provide the excellent service that our customers look for. You will need to be able to multi-task and will become knowledgeable about the different foods and drinks that we offer. What you will do: As a server at Mikomi Sushi, you will take/serve drink orders, take/serve food orders, clear out empty plates and bus tables when needed, and bring condiments or anything else the customer may need to enjoy their dining experience. Note: This description does not include all the duties that is required for the position. Qualifications: - Must be fluent in English, any other languages are a plus - Any experience in restaurant industry is also a plus but not required - Must be 18 years of age or older or in accordance to state law - Able to walk/sit/stand for long periods of time - Must be able to work different shifts. These may include holidays, weekday morning/nights, weekend morning/nights, and overtime as needed. - State or local food handler card preferred - High School diploma or GED preferred. - Must be eligible to work in the United States
