We are conveniently located within blocks of Syracuse University and several hotels, making us a prime spot for delicious and diverse pizzas such as General Tso, Chicken Wing, Eggplant, Chicken Bacon Ranch, and more. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role located in Syracuse, NY, for a Line Cook and Pizza Maker at Franco's Pizzeria & Deli. The Line Cook and Pizza Maker will be responsible for preparing and cooking pizzas, pastas, and other menu items to order. Duties include ensuring food quality, following recipes, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, and assisting with inventory management. The ideal candidate should have a passion for cooking and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications Experience in food preparation, cooking, and maintaining kitchen sanitation standards Proficiency in making pizzas, including dough preparation and baking techniques Ability to follow recipes, measure ingredients accurately, and ensure food quality and consistency Excellent time management and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Experience in handling kitchen equipment and maintaining a clean workspace Strong communication skills and the ability to take direction Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required Required qualifications: Legally authorized to work in the United States 18 years or older
