Requirements Brief Job Description The Club at Mediterra, a multiple award-winning private club located in Naples, Florida has an opening for Food Runners to join our dynamic team at our Beach Club location in Bonita Springs. Food Runners are responsible for expediting food and running food to tables and on the beach to members and guests with a focus on excellence, consistency, and the member/guest experience. All duties of the position shall be performed with a commitment to the highest level of member and guest service with a focus on total customer satisfaction. Maintaining professional decorum in all interactions with membership is essential. The Person We Are Looking for Will Greeting members and guests Working in collaboration with other teammates to deliver members/guests expectations Maintaining a clean and organized workstations Attending pre-meal meetings as requested by leadership Must be able to carry waiter tray up and down stairs Functions as the point of contact between Front of the House and Back of the House staff Communicating food orders to chefs, paying attention to priorities (e.g. food allergies) Coordinating food orders to guarantee timely and efficient delivery to members/ guests. Have full menu knowledge Maintaining high food safety and sanitation standards Preparing for the day's events and/or restaurant service Assisting with banquet service Working in collaboration with other teammates to deliver member/guests expectations. Performing opening and closing duties as assigned by leadership. Assisting with various steps of service pertaining to both banquet functions and restaurant dining Performing opening and closing duties as assigned by leadership Working within a true team-oriented environment What We Would Like You to Have Three (3) months of previous experience working in a private club or high-end dining establishment required Must be able to stand for extended periods of time Must be able to lift and/or carry 30 pounds Available to work a flexible schedule, which may include nights, weekends, and/or holidays Excellent customer service skills Friendly, outgoing disposition Attention to detail This position will primarily work no more than 35-40 hours per week for full-time servers, and 10-25 hours per week for part-time. However, based on required service levels, the hours are subject to change.
