Description The Sheraton Greensboro/Joseph S. Koury Convention Center is now seeking a Sous Chef for its high volume banquet kitchen. This position will: Help lead the banquet kitchen staff to produce top quality meals with an eye for presentation Maintain a strong safety culture Assist and provide coaching on the line Produce high-quality plates, considering both design and taste. Oversee and supervise the kitchen staff. Assist with inventory and supply management. Keeps stations clean and comply with food safety standards. Monitor and maintain kitchen equipment. Requirements The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of high volume Sous Chef experience. Must be able to execute high quality, high volume food production consistently with an emphasis on presentation. Should be able to assist with teaching and training staff to prepare and present with the highest of standards. Job requires attention to detail, ongoing innovative staff training, creativity, food cost control, and organizational skills.
