GENERAL MANAGERS are the premier unit-level leadership position within our organization that provides direct support to unit leaders and regional management in the effort to maintain efficient restaurant operations and provide our guests with a premium experience. General Managers will participate in direct oversight of all restaurant functions and maintain a primary role in developing a strong hospitality organization. They are also expected to cultivate healthy financials through strong business fundamentals. The ideal candidate is a balanced and professional individual that is business oriented, guest driven, supports their people and delivers results. All of our leaders are expected to lead by example, promote a strong positive culture and demonstrate an eagerness to grow and develop with our company. THE BASICS- Must be an ambassador of our mission and core values
- Leads and inspires exceptional hospitality
- Ability to perform a wide variety of tasks while enforcing all company policies and procedures
- Ensures seamless operations and great experiences, from our team, to our food, to our guests
- Works with urgency and purpose every minute of every shift
- Follows essential operational policies and procedures; helping ensure compliance with local, state, and federal health and employment laws
- Ensures all guests have an awesome guest experience (including handling any guest complaints)
- Takes on many Front of House & Back of House responsibilities including proper food handling, recipe execution, food preparation and production and ensuring cleanliness, as well as interacting with guests, problem solving, and coaching our teams.
PRE-REQs- Minimum 2 years restaurant/kitchen management experience
- Positive and energetic personality
- Able to delegate and give direction to diligently complete tasks
- Works with a sense of urgency, intent and efficiency
- Strong Communication Skills
- P&L - Knowledge, effectiveness, management
- Organized with orders, invoices and inventory
- Detail oriented, and always puts best foot forward
- Strong accounting knowledge and comfortable on computers/ with technology
- Comfortable holding team and other managers to high standards and holding them accountable
- LIVES by and also enforces all policies, procedures and our culture
- Meets or exceeds industry standards for the preparation, serving and storing of food
- Maintains consistent, passing scores on all audits (food, service, and operations)
- Takes initiative to solve problems as they come
- Versed in all hiring, termination, and coach and counsel protocols
- Actively involved with training and ongoing development of all personnel
- Passionate about self-development and development of others
- Actively participates in the restaurant and interacts frequently with guests and team
- Takes ownership and acts as the Brand Ambassador in the Restaurant and in the community
