The Dining Room Server provides support and service for members' food and beverage service in all dining rooms and other areas as needed. The role also assists coworkers as needed or as directed in all aspects of a la carte service to ensure excellent service is provided to the membership.
Essential Duties
- Provide high-end table service in a fine dining environment.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the menu, including wine pairings and specialty dishes.
- Engage with guests to offer recommendations and ensure a memorable dining experience.
- Set up and maintain a pristine dining area, including table settings and cleanliness.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service.
- Handle guest inquiries and requests with professionalism and efficiency.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience
- Experience as a Server, preferred
- Ability to take direction and work in a team environment.
- Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure.
- Problem solver, self-motivated, and organized.
- Must demonstrate ability to read and communicate in English
- Food Handler Certified
- TABC Certified
Physical Requirements
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear, stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.
- Frequent physical effort in transporting packages, cases, or objects of up to 50 lbs.
- Frequent washing of hands.
- Required to stand for long periods and repetitive motions.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as business needs require.
