A High Volume, upscale casual restuarant is looking for an Executive Sous Chef to lead their team.
Non-Negotiables:
- 4-6 years of Sous Chef experience in high-volume or polished casual environments
- Strong proficiency in kitchen systems, scheduling, prep management, and cost controls
- Background in structured/corporate restaurant groups or smaller local chains
Responsibilities:
- Support Executive Chef in managing daily kitchen operations
- Oversee prep, quality control, BOH scheduling, and labor/food cost tracking
- Maintain kitchen standards and ensure consistent execution in a high-volume setting
- Train and develop kitchen staff, fostering a team-first culture
- Participate in menu execution, inventory, and vendor coordination
- Contribute to a positive and organized BOH work environment
