Barista Seasonal & Year-Round

What We're Looking For:

We're hiring baristas who can work 2 6 shifts per week, including early mornings and weekends. Ideal candidates are positive, quick learners who thrive in a fast-paced environment and love making someone's day better one cup at a time.

Were especially interested in candidates available for:

Late August through early September (vacation coverage)
October (major festivals/events multiple locations!)
December (extended holiday hours, open until 8pm)


Job Responsibilities:

Prepare high-quality coffee and espresso drinks to caf standards
Greet and serve customers with warmth and efficiency
Keep the workspace clean, organized, and fully stocked
Assist with opening or closing tasks (30 minutes before/after operating hours)
Support team members and rotate duties as needed (register, dishes, prep, etc.)


Shifts & Scheduling:

Caf open 7am 4pm (standard) seven days a week

Extended hours 7am 6pm (October) and 7am 8pm (December)

Shifts are no more than 6 hours, with 1 2 hour overlap for handoff
Flexible scheduling with rotating weekends


Requirements:

Previous barista or food service experience preferred (but not required)
Able to stand for 6 hours and lift up to 30 lbs
Excellent communication and multitasking skills
Willingness to work events, festivals, and occasional outdoor setups with longer hours
Reliable transportation
