Taco Bell - Manchester is looking for a Restaurant Cook to join our team in Manchester, TN. This position is full time or part time. The restaurant cook is responsible for food preparation that meets or exceeds hospitality and service standards and must be able to prepare all foods to meet quantity and deadline requirements. As a restaurant cook at Taco Bell - Manchester you will prepare food items according to the menu, recipes, and special dietary or nutritional restrictions. You will also determine food and supplies needed to keep the kitchen running and stocked during service. Cooks make sure that proper health procedures are followed. You should maintain or exceed standards of appearance, cleanliness, hygiene, and health. Previous cook, line cook, prep cook, sous chef or other back of house (BOH) experience is beneficial. High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not mandatory. Food Handlers certification or willingness to obtain. Job Responsibilities and Essential Requirements: Produce, prepare and cook foods to include soups, sauces, salads, entrees, catering and all other items determined by the Chef Manager. Comprehend and follow both verbal and written food recipes, production orders, cooking instructions and techniques in preparation of daily menus. Station set - up prior to service with appropriate equipment and food to be determined by the supervisor. Maintain a clean and safe work area via supervisor instruction and applicable health, safety and food handling regulations. Provide customer service in a courteous manner at all times. Follow all outlined health and safety regulations with regard to equipment use and personal hygiene. Have the ability to move objects up to approximately 35 lbs. to waist height. Adhere to client and company protocols related to COVID-19 workplace safety and sanitation standards. Receive, unpack, unwrap, date, rotate and stow deliveries. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time. This position may be called upon to perform other jobs as determined by the supervisor.
