About the Role Line cooks are the backbone of the kitchen. You'll run a station on the cooking "line" - whether that's grilling, sautéing, frying, or plating - and make sure each dish is prepared consistently, safely, and on time. The role includes both daily restaurant service and preparing food for larger catered events. If you've worked as a grill cook, sauté cook, fry cook, station cook, or banquet cook , you likely have the skills to succeed here.
